Originally meant to be a travel blog, this darling little project has been back-burnered more times than I’ve had red wine hangovers since landing in Europe last September. But please, welcome yourself to phase three of this journey…employment. A few things to keep in mind:
1. I am long-winded BUT I’m working on it.
2. My English is slipping so please forgive strange spelling errors and phrasing. Side note; my Turkish is coming along nicely though.
3. I swear too much in person but am quite lovely in text, so please take note and send praise.
4. This bit of traveling has done more to shape my opinion of home almost more than my opinion of away. I am still deciding what to do with these thoughts.
5. I think its really fun that you are reading my words and I have no idea that you are doing it. Quick count to three and say the first thing that comes to your head…1…2…3……did you say ‘squeegee’ too? That is weird, man.
Settled. Thanks for reading lovely friends and family!
true that you do swear often in person but heartening to see you can let your inner wordsmith fly without the naughty bits. When I counted to 3 the word I thought of was ‘bagel’ so guess I’m needing some carbs.
Keep the random thoughts coming as I so enjoy.
Jessie FINALLY!!! Haha I loooove reading things you write. You have such a way with words. Keep it up I wanna make sure you’re okay and not off with the fighting arguing turkish men. Oh and can you do me a favour, just stay put for another.. well till the end of May, then you may (no pun intended) visit me in Greece!
I miss you like a weird accustomed rash that you just cant live without.
how nice it is to envision you where you are…your words carry me away and allow me momentary to wander to another life…and then I hear Mack who reminds me I would not trade this life for a minute but how nice it is to envision you where you are…
every bit of my love to you my sweet turk.
1…2…3…BEN KWELLER!
So refreshing to hear about where you are and what you’re doing. My thoughts…
I agree with your other commentators, you certainly have a way with words, I felt like I was on that peacefully chaotic street also.
I would like to have a honeybear of my own.
I didn’t know that there are palm trees in Turkey, but I guess I’ve never thought about it. I’m learning already.
Thank you for entertaining me with your thoughts, otherwise I would be forced to pay attention in class and I’m just not in the mood.
Hope to read more soon.
